Underground Strike

6 posts in this topic

On the news last week Bob Crow and his merry men were threatening to strike from 6th September. I've heard no more since. Does anyone have any further information? I'm supposed to be leading a group of 26 people up to London on the 8th and will have to come up with Plan B if the strike is likely to be on.

Union bosses are due to meet later to decide the timetable for strikes on the London Underground network.

When I last checked, Chiltern were planning a normal service after about 7:00.

I suspect it may be crowded!

Looks like a passable service as far as Harrow but not clear how many trains are going as far as Baker Street. Most services within Zone1 are suspended.

Fair play to the Met at least, although it's not got past Baker Street it's run a pretty reliable (albeit reduced) service most of the day...
