Running the Baker St service 10 mins in front of the Marylebone service, so each arrives in London at about the same time, is a mean-minded decision by LU, effectively giving the user a choice of only two arrival times per hour despite the headline of 4 trains per hour.

The decison on the train timings is strange, they don't make the service that appealing at times.

As previously mentioned on here, the logical step was to remove 16 & 46 from Amersham as passengers tend to wait for the Chiltern as both arrive in central London at the same time.

The problem with that was that on the northbound journey if there is still an 8 car on the branch to Chesham when the northbound Chesham arrives at Chalfont the train behind is a Chiltern and we mustn't delay all those people who travel on Chiltern Railways as it cost TFL in fines for delaying the train.

The halving of the Amersham Met service was mentioned on the Chesham Station thread back in mid November but nobody was bothered then.

The topic has been discussed before. However, at the time, the actual timings were not know.
