I am trying to find some information regarding my Gt Aunt Julia Anna Last.
She was born in Purleigh Essex in 1893 but by 1947 she was living in Chesham Bois - address unknown.
I know that by 1949 she had moved to Hemel Hempstead , Herts.
Would really like to know what she was doing in Chesham Bois and where she was living - She never
married so I know that marriage would not have caused a move.
Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Amersham library has copies of Kelly's Directory for various years, which I've used when researching our house history. If you're not local to this area, let me know and I'll check to see if I can find anything on my next visit.

Unfortunately there is no directory at the library covering this period - 1939 is the nearest one and there is no mention of your great aunt in that one for Chesham Bois.
