Comparing this with the results of our (unscientific) Do Petrol Prices Affect Your Driving? topic, it's clear that public transport isn't a viable alternative to the car for many people here. But in a semi rural area, that isn't easy to fix without major investment.
Incidentally, it seems odd that BCC is doing the survey via a PDF, rather than an online survey, doesn't it?

Maybe they didn't like the responses they got to their on-line survey designed to provide a fig leaf for the planned library cuts.Incidentally, it seems odd that BCC is doing the survey via a PDF, rather than an online survey, doesn't it?
