Not too much impact on Amersham itself.
Do many people here use the buses? I have to as I don't drive, but would car owners give up their cars to travel by bus? Usual chicken and egg situation as I suspect many won't owing to infrequent and or inconvenient services, but more frequent and convenient services won't be run unless more people want to use the buses.

We don't have the population to justify London quality services unfortunately. Certainly if I could use my Oyster card I would use the bus more often (and will when I qualify for my delayed bus pass).
The changes should improve time keeping on route 4 by cutting out the extensions to Hilltop and Ley Hill.
