Hi there
Am considering buying a house within the Chestnut Lane catchment area, but I heard rumours the county council were considering moving the catchment maps - does anyone know if this is actually happening? Thank you.

Catchment maps are never set in stone, and even living in catchment is never a guarantee of a place; it merely puts you ahead of most of those who are not.
There have been particular problems with Chestnut Lane's catchment this year (many in-catchment children failing to get a place), so there may well be changes, but whilst there may be many rumours, I suspect Bucks CC are the only ones who could give authoritative information, and they may not have decided yet.
See Primary school allocation topic for details of this year's allocations for Chestnut Lane.
