I discovered this Farmers Market last month and revisited again yesterday and must say that the quality of the produce is superb.
In February I stocked up the freezer with meat that we have eaten throughout the month. Yesterday I not only bough my meat for the coming month but also stocked up on a number of other things such as cheese, yoghurt, pickles, pies (sweet and savoury), vegetables, bread and even some delicious curry sauces (we've just had a Rabbit Dopiaza for Sunday lunch).
I particularly like the selection of local meat available from 4 or 5 different stalls which includes some slightly less common varieties such as Water Buffalo, rare breed Pork, Hare, Rabbit, Pheasant, Pigeon and Venison plus the more "normal" pork and lamb.
This market is well worth a visit.
I understand that many of the producers are present in Beaconsfield too, on the 4th Saturday of each month.

The game merchant is also at Thame on the second Tuesday.
Other markets are Wendover and Leighton Buzzard on the third Saturday and Chesham on the 4th.
