So that will be closed before the stretch between Challoner's and the two mini roundabouts is reopened?!
No more rush hour shortcuts to and from Chesham down Fuller's Hill.

They certainly ought to know.

On the other hand, The Examiner has a list of local roads that will be resurfaced and Copperkins Lane is scheduled for 2012/13! Anything could happen before then.

Here's the list: Examiner article. Not that it is on page 2 of an article. Scroll down the page for the option to view page 1.

I live in Copperkins Lane so was interested in the road closure that was announced on this site. Today a board was put up at the Hyde Heath end of the lane stating the road would be closed for 1 day on 10th October for water works. I doubt they will close the whole road so perhaps it will just be that end of the lane up to Bois Ave or similar.

Too much to hope that they'll repair the holes at the same time!!

As a resident of Copperkins Lane I am loving the massively reduced traffic using the lane - long may it last. In fact can it be made permanent?!

All the signs and bollards have gone so I think the lane has reopened.
