At the top right hand side of this page you should see your user name. Click on that and view profile. Then you should see your profile come up with a Edit My Profile button, that should do it.

Actually yes it does! 
Go into Edit Profile, then Change Profile Info (which is in a tab on the left of the page), at the bottom (ish) there is a gender box.
