Surprised to see about 10 tonnes of soil dumped in the middle of New Road, Coleshill yesterday.

I know it's not exactly a main thoroughfare and I was able to squeeze past, but this was pretty dangerous. There was also evidence of damage to a nearby tree, presumably caiused by the tipper that dumped the soil. I saw later on that the Police had put signs and warning lights up.

This was next to a tree that always seems to have a small memorial at its base.

Anyone know what might be going on?

Edit: Found this information on a fatal accident there in 2005, explains the flowers. Wonder if the events are linked?
