Hi there,

Alas, my bicycle was stolen from Amersham station on Friday. I need a bike to get to the train station on time, and am in need of a new one! My old one had a 54 cm / 21.5" frame. Can pick up from anywhere...just want to be back on my wheels for next week!!

St Mary's school in the old town is planning ot have have a bike auction next Saturday so there may be something cheap there.
Viewings are from 12 pm with the auction starting at 2pm.

Would like to buy a road bike. ideally straight handlebars with a 3 + gears (and, after an interval of many years, perhaps training wheels!).  Alternatively, the name of a nearby reputable used bike shop ..... don't see anything in Google.

Yes - many thanks.  Mostly newer gear and very pricey!

There is also Bicycle Workshop in Great Missenden. The web site mentions that they sell new and second hand bikes but gives no details.
