Pictorial Tour of Amersham
View From St. Mary's Church Tower

In June 2006 at the St. Mary's Church fete, Martyn Loach went up the tower of St. Mary's Church and took all the pictures below.

With Badminton Court bottom left (former brewery), view looking towards Amersham on the Hill with a fine display of poppies in the fields below Rectory Woods
With the fete in full swing in the Church Grounds, Tesco can be seen top left, with the new offices built on the site of the former gas holders and a fine view of the Broadway with the former Griffin dominating the Street (now Ask restaurant)
A view along High Street. The end of the Market Hall can be seen extreme left. The black and white Kings Arms can be spotted along with the old Baptist Chappell. What this view illustrates is just how far back the buildings go from the street.
A closer view of some of the buildings along High Street.
